PTA Powder Weld Overlay

We developed the Plasma Powder Weld Overlay (PTA) system in 1973 and have processed industrial machine main components as well as atomic power plant components which, in particular, require high quality technology for corrosion resistance and thick overlay.
Compared with TIG welding and MIG welding, the depth of fusion into the base material is low. Also, high quality thick overlay with a thickness of 0.8 to 10 mm is available, which demonstrate its ability in the case of corrosion caused by potential differences and corrosion in gaps.

Powder material and base material become an alloy.
As the depth of fusion is low, the processing is completed with one pass.
Free thickness of overlay from 0.8 to 10 mm
